The Olympic Javelin Train has successfully arrived in London after setting off from Ashford this morning.

It made its journey in a speedy 37 minutes, and will be ready by next December to shuttle passengers from St Pancras to the Olympic Village in Stratford.

Nigel Jarrett from South Eastern Rail Services spoke to the KM Group about the novel way the trains are going to be named.

He said:"We've asked our passengers to come forward with names they would like to see on these trains - former Olympians, that sort of thing - people associated with speed, which is what these trains are all about.

"It's a bit of fun, but it's something historical as well."
