Hamstreet car fire: Police and fire crews called to The Street after car is set alight

A car was gutted by a fire overnight.

Police and fire crews were called to The Street in Hamstreet at 11pm following reports a Vauxhall Meriva had been dumped and set alight.

Firefighters were at the scene, opposite Wyevale Garden Centre, for around an hour.

The car was completely destroyed by the fire.
