Students from a Tenterden drama school are preparing for their Winter Showcase to be staged at the Sinden Theatre next month.

The show is being put together by students from The Academy, aged eight to 15.

David Waters, one of The Academy’s founders, said: “This is a great opportunity to see some of the work The Academy students have been doing recently.

“It’s not the accumulation of all their work this school year – some of what you’ll see has only been seriously worked on for a few weeks.

“The showcase is a scrapbook of items with no particular theme.

“It will focus solely on the performances – we’re keeping the presentation simplistic, but we’re confident the quality of entertainment will be the best we can offer.”
