All three emergency services attended the scene of a crash this morning blocked a road near a farm in Smarden.

Police were called to the incident involving a car and a van in Shenley Road, Smarden around 10am.

The accident affected Bell Lane near Marley Farm.

Firefighters helped release three casualties that were trapped.

Five people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Officers, air ambulance and Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene.
