Two school children have been arrested after a trolley was pushed off the top of a multi-storey car park in Ashford.

The incident happened at about 3.40pm on Thursday afternoon in the car park for Park Mall just off of Edinburgh Road.

The Wilkinson trolley plummeted 40 feet before hitting the ground narrowly missing a car. The trolley was bent and broken after the fall.

Security guards and police managed to apprehend the two children.
