Ambulance called to Victoria Park in Ashford after labourer hurt

A labourer was treated by paramedics following an incident in a park.

The injured worker was assessed next to a footpath which runs alongside the River Stour.

The park is currently being upgraded after Ashford Borough Council was awarded more than £3 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

An ambulance spokesman confirmed paramedics attended an incident in the park.
